Outside it is a gloriously sunny Spring day. I am working from home (with a lovely view I might add from my window) due to covid - 19 I'm not in my usual work office. Although it does have it's benefits working from home as I'm able to see my lovely husband and little boy on my lunch break. They have been bringing me drinks and snacks and lovely cuddles so a really big bonus.
I just wanted to share a message with you all to let you know that I'm thinking of you.
In the light of what is happening in the world currently and the scared with our schools, zoos, cinemas, theaters and some shops closing it's been a really overwhelming couple of weeks for the British people. Some real life changing things happening around us.
With everything that has been going on I think Mothers Day almost got forgotten about. I don't believe I saw an advertisement anywhere.
But I myself have not forgotten about all the Mothers out there.
I am thinking about you.
Mothers who who have lost children.
Mothers who are currently self isolating.
Mothers who have lost Mothers.
Mothers with complicated Mother relationships
I'm thinking of those who chose not to be Mothers
I'm thinking of those yearning to be Mothers.
I'm thinking of the Mothers who are always tired
I'm thinking of the Mothers who feel like they are never god enough.
I'm thinking of you all.
I extend my arms to you for a great big hug and to say, you are loved.
What you do matters.
I encourage you to reach out to your loved ones. Whether it's a secret package left at the door, a home cooked meal, a letter, flowers, a video or phone call. These little things mean the most. The thought. The love. The appreciation.
